The rules for using Sabad, and what you can and can't expect from us.
These terms apply to the Sabad app and the website at sabad.app. By using Sabad, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Sabad. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The service
Sabad is a free shopping-list app. It helps you keep shared lists, compare prices at online stores, turn recipes into shopping lists, and add items by voice. We are always improving Sabad, so features may change, and we may add, limit or remove features at any time.
Your account
You can use Sabad as a guest or sign in with your email or Google account. You are responsible for what happens in your account, so keep access to your email and your phone secure. If you think someone else is using your account, email support@sabad.app.
Prices and shopping platforms
Prices, offers, delivery fees and delivery times in Sabad come from online shopping platforms and their stores. They can change at any time, and what Sabad shows may be out of date or incomplete. The price you pay is the one the store shows at checkout.
When you order, you buy from the store, not from Sabad. The store is responsible for your order, payment, delivery, returns and refunds, under its own terms. Sabad is independent and isn't affiliated with these platforms; their names and trademarks belong to their owners. We can't promise any particular saving.
Shared lists
Anyone with an invite link to your list can join it. Share invite links only with people you trust. As the owner of a list, you can remove members at any time.
Your content
Your lists, voice recordings and the links you share with Sabad remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and use them to run Sabad and to improve it, as described in the Privacy Policy, including using voice recordings to improve speech recognition.
When you share a recipe post with Sabad, the recipe we create from it can be opened by anyone who has its link, and Sabad links back to the original post. Share only content you are allowed to share.
Results produced by AI
Voice input and recipe import use automatic speech recognition and AI language models. Their results can be wrong: an item may be missed, or an amount may be off. Check items, amounts and ingredients before you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary needs. Recipes in Sabad are for general information only.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use Sabad for anything illegal, or to harass or harm other people, including through shared lists;
- try to get around usage limits, overload our servers, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
- copy Sabad's data or content in bulk with automated tools;
- share content you don't have the right to share.
We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Ending your use
You can stop using Sabad at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@sabad.app.
Disclaimer
Sabad is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that its prices and information will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Sabad isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by stores, prices, orders or deliveries, or by content that other people share.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app. If you keep using Sabad after a change, you accept the new terms.
